I was able to spend a bit of time at one of the nation’s top Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), Spelman College. Even though I’m from Atlanta, and went to college right “down the street”, I’ve never seen the entirety of this campus! The women who participated were so knowledgeable about Spelman, and I learned a lot while we walked to different iconic spots. If you are a fan of 90s show ” A Different World”, you’ll see some of Spelman’s buildings in the transition shots! It was a lovely day and an example of who HBCUs can produce.
